The ASPO Nature Centre in the Sauge, between Ins and Cudrefin, is next to Switzerland’s 2 most important bird sanctuaries: the Chablais de Cudrefin and Fanel, in the Grand Cariçaie, on Lake Neuchâtel’s south-eastern shores. The Nature Centre has a permanent exhibition on the Grand Cariçaie, temporary exhibitions, an ecology laboratory, multimedia shows and an outdoor trail (500 metres) with 3 hides for unobtrusive wildlife observation.
